  1. AI Photonic Chips: Photonic chip solutions are the only way to achieve the bandwidth density and energy efficiency required for AI chip-to-chip communication. Beyond these traditional roles of optics in the cluster compute stack, PICs breakthrough potential in neural network and photonics-enhanced training acceleration for next-generation AI architectures.
